ABOUT LINIE DESIGN
A Danish design house known for handcrafted rugs of the highest quality, founded in 1980 with the desire to unite Danish design with traditional Indian crafts. In collaboration with the leading textile designers of this time, Linie Design had generated great interest in the Scandinavian aesthetic as an alternative to the prevailing Oriental style – on par with Danish furniture classics, which are known and loved worldwide. The classic, timeless expression remains the foundation of our design philosophy and a natural part of a sustainable mindset, where each handcrafted rug is made from the finest materials with consideration for long-lasting quality and appearance. As a new step on the brand's journey, Linie Design has stepped into the spotlight of the Danish design scene with the opening of a brand store in central Copenhagen.
