Cancellation rights 

As a consumer, when you buy from us, you have a 14-day cooling-off period, in which you have the right to cancel the purchase. 

This cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day on which you received your goods. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you received the last item.

If the purchase consists of several consignments or parts, the right to cancel will lapse 14 days after the day you receive the last consignment or the last part.

If the agreement is for regular deliveries of goods over a specific period, then your cancellation right lapses 14 days after the day when you receive the first package.

The period means that you have 14 days after receiving the goods to let us know that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to info@liniedesign.dk or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods, unless you inform us at the same time.

Please note that freight charges will not be refunded if you cancel your purchase.

Cancelling part of the purchase    

If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order.

Returning the goods

When you have informed us that you are cancelling your purchase, you have 14 days to return the goods to us.

You yourself must pay for returning the package and you will be liable if it is damaged during transport if you choose another carrier than our nominated forwarder by using our return label. 

You will also be liable if the package is damaged during transport by using our return label.

All our goods cannot be returned by normal post.

The return of your parcel and goods is free of charge if (i) you use our return label, (ii) you use UPS as the freight carrier and (iii) the goods you are returning are smaller than 300x400cm.

If you return goods that are 300x400cm or larger in size, you will have to contact our customer service for special handling via our carrier Dachser. 

You can return the parcel by using this return portal here or by using below standard cancellation form (see bottom page). If you use our return label and ship through UPS.

(This form is only to be filled in and returned when the right to cancel is exercised.)

No right to cancellation
The following agreements cannot be cancelled: 

Deliveries of goods which are made to your specifications or which are of a clearly personal nature.

The state of the article when you return it

If the value of the article is reduced, and the reason is that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the article, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.

We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.

Refund of the purchase sum

If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the article is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We refund all payments received from you on the items ordered, not including delivery costs, not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your return parcel.

We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.

Right to make complaints, applicable law and place of jurisdiction

When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act and in any event Danish law applies. The statutory provisions on the restriction of the choice of law and on the applicability of mandatory provisions, in particular of the country in which the customer as a consumer has his habitual residence, remain unaffected.

This means that you have a right to complain within 24 months. Please contact us before you return the article.

If your complaint is justified, it means that you may either have the item repaired or replaced, or your money refunded, or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered a defect. If you complain within two months after the defect has been discovered, it will always be regarded as within a reasonable time.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your freight costs (within reason). The article must always be retuned in suitable packaging. Remember also to obtain a receipt for dispatch, so that we can pay back your freight costs.  

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the contract between you and us is the registered office of the seller unless mandatory statutory provisions stipulate otherwise.

According to our care instructions on the product page, we must point out that handwoven carpets can peel.

Personal data policy 

We need the following information when you trade with us:

Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

We register and pass on the personal details which are necessary to deliver the goods to you. 

We pass on the above information to a 3rd party partner at the carrier in order to deliver the order

Personal data is registered with Linie Design A/S and is kept for five years, after which the details are deleted. 

In addition, we work with a number of other companies who store and process data. These companies process the data exclusively on our behalf and must not use them for their own purposes.

We work only with processors of data in the EU or in countries where your data will be given adequate protection. 

On liniedesign.com, the responsible for data is Linie Design A/S. 

You are entitled to be told what details about you we process.
If you believe the details are inaccurate, you are entitled to have them corrected. In certain situations, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask us to do so. These could, for instance, be data which are no longer necessary for the purpose we used them for. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data are being processed in a way that is against the law. You can also write to us at: info@liniedesign.dk.

To complain about goods or services, the goods or services must have a value between 1.110 DKK and 100.000 DKK. A fee will be charged.
