Description
Eternal Eye combines a uniquely rounded shape with textural contrasts to create a characterful rug that appeals to all the senses. The neutral colour palette ensures the focus remains on the structure, as it shifts from thick and sumptuous pile to flat-woven, before finishing with generous fringing at the end. Made in a combination of soft New Zealand wool and organic cotton warp – both materials selected for their durability and natural rustic beauty.
Colour variation
Variations in colour and texture can arise between batches of yarn and dye baths.
Irregularities
Irregularities may occur as a result of the handmade process.

Regular cleaning by vacuuming. Vacuum in the direction of the rug’s pile, but not with the brushes in the “out position”. Do not clean stains on silk with water as this might damage the rug. To be washed flat by a professional carpet cleaner. Most new rugs will shed hair upon usage which is natural. Excess pile should be removed from the rug as it appears. Heavy furniture on the rug may leave the pile flat which is a normal characteristic for wool/silk rugs. Please note that the colours may fade if the rug is exposed to strong sunlight for an extended period. We recommend underlay to avoid discolouration.

Is's all about materials

And Texture

Consideration for our

Nature

With the aim of minimising our environmental impact, the Apertus collection is crafted without any man-made fibres. Extra focus on materials means the majority of rugs are made from undyed wool and all cotton used is certified organic. The rugs are skilfully handcrafted in India by local artisans, using ancient traditions to produce our timeless and enduring Scandinavian designs. All rugs fulfil REACH criteria and feature the Care & Fair label, with many also awarded the OEKO-TEX® certification. In the Apertus collection, the materials are laid bare in an attempt to stay as close as possible to nature, enhancing the rugs’ authentic expression and natural beauty.
